About Vexcon

Vexcon is a family business that started in Bossier City, Louisiana in May, 1996. In 1997 Bill P., our Licensee, was elected President of the Northwest Louisiana Pest Control Association. Keeping it in the family, Billy runs Vexcon with the help of his brother Rick, his father Big Bill (President), and his Mom Donnie.

Bill entered the field of entomology with the U.S. Air Force in 1987. After his honorable discharge, he trained for 5 years with the industry’s leading entomologist. Bill furthered his studies by completing two years of correspondence training with Purdue University, and earned a masters certification for termite control at LSU. Bill is an expert in the use of organics, non-chemical procedures & animal control.  Bill is an Associate Certified Entomologist.

In February, 2009 A&E debuted Vexcon on 'The Exterminators'.  With Billy's desire to capture and release animals instead of killing them whenever possible and the family dynamics between the Bretherton's, the show was an instant hit.  In March, 2010 A&E premiered the second season changing the name to 'Billy, The Exterminator.
